This full bathroom remodel is a perfect example of how intentional design and high-end craftsmanship can completely transform a builder-grade space into a bold, luxury retreat.
Originally, this bathroom felt flat and uninspired—defined by basic finishes, standard fixtures, and the kind of contractor-grade materials you see in countless production homes. Our mission was to elevate every detail and create a space that felt custom, dramatic, and completely one-of-a-kind.
To create a sense of drama, we leaned into contrast and material selection. The space now features a stunning combination of deep, moody tones and rich textures. Large-format stone-look tile wraps the custom walk-in shower, creating a seamless, high-end look, while a striking herringbone niche detail adds depth and visual interest. Matte black hexagon tile grounds the space, giving it a strong, architectural feel.
The shower itself was completely reimagined into a spa-like experience, complete with premium fixtures, clean glass enclosure, and a refined layout that feels both open and immersive. Every line and finish was carefully chosen to elevate the everyday routine.
We carried that same level of intention into the vanity design. The custom-built cabinetry, wrapped in bold finishes, is paired with a sleek stone countertop and a modern vessel sink that acts as a sculptural centerpiece. Unique mirrors and upgraded lighting fixtures bring a custom, designer touch, while maintaining functionality and balance.
The freestanding soaking tub adds another layer of luxury, creating a true retreat within the home. Positioned beneath the stained glass window, it becomes a quiet, relaxing moment within the otherwise bold and dramatic space.
This project was especially fun for our design team because it allowed us to push beyond the ordinary—mixing textures, embracing contrast, and incorporating a truly unique feature into a cohesive design. The end result is a bathroom that feels elevated, personal, and unforgettable.
